Anna Voth, a student at Rockwall High School, has advanced to the State PTA Reflections Photography Contest with her Special Olympics photo, titled: Golden Rewards.
The theme for the contest this year is “Heroes Around Me.”
“For four years, I have had the privilege of coaching the Special Olympics swim team for my county,” said Anna. “I snapped this photo of the medals that they were about to award my swimmers and others from across the state. Special Olympics helps me to see that there are heroes around me, and I am honored to not only be their coach, but also their friend. "
Last year, Anna won the gold medal at the state level with her photo: Lazy Lemur.
