Utley Middle School Drill Team recently competed at the North Texas Regionals held at Rockwall-Heath High School, where they brought home many awards.
They won Officer and Team Sweepstakes (Div. 1 Rating--90+) in every single dance, Judges Awards for Team Jazz and Pom with scores of 95+ and Judges Awards for Officer Lyrical and Open with scores of 92+.
The Team was awarded Best in Class as well as Gold recognition for emphasis in three areas: precision, choreography and presentation.
Officers won Silver recognition for emphasis in two areas: precision and choreography and got 1st Runners up in Best-in-class
