Connor Stasiak, a Rockwall HS junior, recently earned 3rd place in Spelling and Vocabulary and has advanced to state after students from both high schools competed at the UIL regional qualifiers at Baylor University.
This is the first time Connor has competed in spelling/vocabulary.
Sydney Peveler, a Rockwall HS senior, earned 4th place in accounting and is a state alternate for Region 11.
Connor and Sydney will be representing Rockwall ISD as well as District 11.
They will compete at the State UIL Academic Competition held at UT Austin May 3-5.
