Sixth grade students at Springer Elementary recently took their learning beyond the walls of their school by partnering with a summer camp in New Mexico.
Students created murals and composed letters explaining how their artwork promoted and inspired peace in Israel. These peace products will be mailed to the camp and presented to the Palestinian Muslim and Israeli Jewish teenage campers.
The campers fly from Israel to the U.S. in the middle of July for a three-week camp devoted to developing and maintaining lasting peace solutions within their culture region.
