Dorothy Smith Pullen Elementary Named a Healthy Zone School

Dorothy Smith Pullen Elementary was recently designated a Healthy Zone School by the selection committee of the Healthy Zone School Program.

This three-year designation recognizes Pullen for high-quality health policies and practices. The program provides support as the school seeks additional improvements to the promotion of healthy lifestyle choices by students. 

Pullen will receive the following benefits as a Healthy Zone School:

• Funding for Physical Education equipment and supplies
• Funding to promote physical activity, nutrition, and/or health
• FitnessGram®, webhosting and support
