The Rockwall ISD Board of Trustees recently approved the appointment of Paige White as principal of Nebbie Williams Elementary School.
Mrs. White comes to Nebbie Williams Elementary with 20 years of experience in public education, including three years as an Assistant Principal at Stevenson Elementary School.
In addition to her campus administration experience, she served four years as an Instructional Coach and three years as an Instructional Technology Specialist at Ouida Springer Elementary.
During her 10 years as a teacher, she worked at Amanda Rochell Elementary, and in Terrell ISD.
Prior to her educational experience, Mrs. White spent two years working in finance. She earned a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Texas A&M Commerce and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside.
Her professional experiences and accomplishments include:
- Extensive experience in the implementation of Campus Wide Professional Learning Communities (PLCs),
- Campus implementation of the Reading, Writing, and Math Workshop,
- National and State Educational Conference Presenter,
- Member of TEPSA (Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association) and TCEA (Texas Computer Education Association), and
- Past Campus Teacher of the Year honoree at two elementary schools.
Mrs. White plans to meet the Nebbie staff, students, and parents before school is out.
