Jones Elementary Student Council Creates “Start with Hello!” Week

The Jones Student Council, led by Ms. Batson, recently participated in "Start with Hello!" week, where students made signs and greeted others as they walked to their classes.  

The "Start with Hello!" program teaches students to make a difference with their peers in a simple, fun and impactful way. Students are encouraged to take small steps to help build a closer community and to interact with all students. This helps to decrease student isolation and create a tighter knit school community.
