Second graders at Pullen Elementary recently concluded their Nonfiction Unit of Study with a Learning Expo.
Students of Mrs. Watkins and Mrs. James read a variety of nonfiction books and used online resources to research a topic of their choice. Students then complied their finding in a nonfiction book, using the same text features found in the nonfiction books they had read.
Students in each class manned an expo table to explain their learning to students from the visiting class.
