The Stingerettes and Stingerette Show Stoppers recently competed at American Dance Regionals Contest at Plano Senior HS. They won the Gussie Nell Davis and Super Sweepstakes awards, scoring above a 93 on all dances in all categories, the Platinum Best Overall Officer Squad and First Place Best of the Best Officers.
Judges awards included Officer Jazz, Officer Lyrical and Officer Contemporary. The Stingerette Show Stoppers won Judges awards in Jazz, Lyrical and Hip Hop. The Stingerette Team won first in Open and Lyrical dances as well as being voted as Most Outstanding Team of the competition.
The Stingerette Show Stoppers took home Best of the Best First Place Highest scoring team of the entire contest. Their score was 872 with the second-place team scoring an 860 making it a clean sweep for the contest.
Julia Blevins Stingerette Captain won senior Private Soloist while Lainey Crawford, Jayme Smith, Samantha Bramlett, Meleah Davis and Siah Maslo all placed in the solo division.
Stingerette Director, Jessica Clark won the Most Outstanding Director award.
