Three Dr. Gene Burton College & Career Academy (GBCCA) students will represent the State of Texas in the Business Professionals of America (BPA) National Leadership Conference (NLC) competition from April 26 to May 9, 2021.
Sophia Bryant, Ella Dilts, and Gavin Figert are the 2021 BPA National Leadership Conference qualifiers, each advancing through Regional and State competitions.
Sophia won both Regional and State First Place in Graphic Design Promotion. Ella won both Regional and State First Place in Advanced Desktop Publishing. Gavin won Regional First Place and National Qualifier at State in Fundamental Desktop Publishing.
All three students will now compete for national titles at the BPA Virtual National Leadership Conference.
