Rockwall ISD Fashion Design Program students recently competed at the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) State Fashion Design Competition held in Dallas, where five out of the 11 students advanced to Nationals.
The 11 students who competed at the FCCLA State Fashion Design competition are Ella Novak, Makalya Ortega, Sadie Lankford, Alissa Dearing, Kiryn Armstrong, Tyson Williams, Nikya Stevens, Kennedy Baker, Sydney Hunt, Madison Glenn (not shown is Ashlyn Welch)
The top five advancing to 2021 National qualifiers:
Sadie Lankford - RHS - 2nd placed Fashion Design Level 2
Alissa Dearing -RHS- 1st place Fashion Construction Level 3
Kiryn Armstrong -RHHS- 2nd place Fashion Design Level 3
Sydney Hunt -RHHS - 1st place Fashion Design Level 3
Maddie Glenn-RHHS - 1st place Fashion Design Level 2
The seven students who qualified for the top 5 in the State of Texas for both Fashion Design and Fashion Construction:
