RHS Robotics team Full Metal Jackets are partnering with RHS Student Council to collect items for Empower 7 in their Project Self-Esteem drive to collect items for teens in need.
Empower 7 is a non-profit organization based in Rockwall County that helps teens in need. Many teens today often do not have the simplest of everyday hygiene products necessary for positive self-image & self-esteem. Empower 7 told us about their organization and we learned we could help students that might be in our own classroom. We decided we wanted to help.
To help make a difference in the lives of teens in Rockwall County, please donate these full-sized items: Bar Soap, Washcloth, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, shampoo, and comb or brush. RHS students can drop off items at Mr. Watson’s room 1411 or our team will be collecting these products every Sunday in October at Rockwall Makerspace, 2010 Industrial Blvd #602 from 1:30-5pm.
By the end of October, they hope to have enough products to create 200 bags for Empower 7.
