January is School Board Recognition Month, and we would like to thank our amazing board of trustees for their dedication and commitment to our students, staff and community. Our board members volunteer their time to serve the needs of our district and we truly appreciate their involvement in nurturing and growing the best district in Texas.
As a retired educator, with 18 of those years in Rockwall ISD, Dr. Shery Packer said serving on the board allows her to still be part of educating students. Serving in this capacity has become especially rewarding since her grandchildren began school in the district. Dr. Packer said she loves to visit classrooms and see first hand how students learn. We thank Dr. Packer for serving the Rockwall ISD family!
