Cain Middle School Student Council Recognized by Texas Association of Student Councils

Cain Middle School student council has been recognized by the Texas Association of Student Councils (TASC) in the areas of Outstanding Student Council; Drugs, Alcohol, Safety and Health (DASH); Pride and Patriotism; and Energy and Environment, as well as for submission of its Community Service Report and has been recognized as a Sweepstakes Council. Sweepstakes councils must be recognized as an Outstanding Student Council and receive outstanding recognition in Drugs, Alcohol, Safety and Health (DASH); Pride and Patriotism; and Energy and Environment, as well as submit a Community Service Report.
 
TASC has 1,166 member schools. Of those, Cain Middle School is one of only 233 student councils statewide to receive this highly-esteemed honor and fewer than 50 middle-level schools statewide.
 
In addition to receiving TASC Outstanding and Sweepstakes awards, The Cain Middle School Student Council has been selected to serve as the parliamentarian officer position in District 3 ML for the 2023- 2024 school year. This allows students to present to their peers and collaborate with other schools across North Texas to develop leadership training.
