Jones Elementary Students Fall in Love with Reading at Family Night
Jones Elementary recently had a successful Fall Family Night where different grade levels set up reading activities for the students and families to enjoy.
One station included an in-depth look at The Hungry Caterpillar followed by the creation of a caterpillar headband.
Other stations included showing how to access books from different devices, suggesting good books to read, and using critical thinking while reading.
The 3rd grade team had out a touchscreen device to show families the biographical videos that students made using Flipgrid.
Students also received a new, free book to add to their home library.
