The broadcasting team at Williams Middle School has been working hard to adjust to the new school year. With half of the class as remote learners, it has been a fun challenge to incorporate all students into the announcements.
As a class, the students decided to have remote learners submit weekly videos. The remote students sent in “Life as Remote Learners” videos, and those videos are being included in the announcements. Also, each week, remote learners Zoom in and anchor the news with in-person learners.
The WTV crew is learning and adapting, but they are making collaborating between remote and in-person learners successful.
