The Rockwall High School robotics Team 1296 - Full Metal Jackets - were 1 in 5 Texas teams that recently attended the 2022 FIRST National Advocacy Conference in Washington D.C. to advocate for Title I schools to receive STEM funding.
While there, the robotics students had the opportunity to meet with staff members of Texas senators and U.S. representatives to discuss the importance of funding STEM, the Every Student Succeeds Act and the United States Innovation and Competition Act.
