Three TAFE High School Students Are National Qualifiers

Three high school students in the Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) organization at the Dr. Gene Burton College and Career Academy are headed to Nationals! 

Students competed at Teach Tomorrow Summit, which is the state TAFE competition in early March in Round Rock, Texas. Students Teaghan B. and Elise H. competed in Interactive Bulletin Board Elementary and received a perfect score and are national qualifiers. Whitney W. also competed in Interactive Bulletin Board Elementary and is a national qualifier with a score of 99.

Students Olivia L. and Katy J. competed in Project Visualize Appreciation and earned gold medals with a score of 90 or higher. 

Congratulations to these outstanding students and we wish them the best of luck as they head to Nationals in Orlando, Florida from June 29 - July 2nd.
