My personal philosophy is that all students are unique and have something special that they can bring to their own education. My personal commitment is to all RISD students' success in the classroom and in life. My students know they are important to me. I have been teaching different levels of Mathematics in public schools for many years.  I believe exploratory learning serves both teacher and student well in the class room. I enjoy seeing my students process real world mathematics through project-based applications. I currently direct teach Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Math 8. I facilitate multiple elective courses for my students as well. I earned my Bachelor's in Mathematics with a minor in History and a Masters in Secondary Education at Texas A & M University-Commerce.
