Presidential Award - Helping Hands

Elizabeth Duvall and Aubren Montgomery earned the high honor of The Presidential Volunteer Service Award through their service to our community with Helping Hands.

The Presidential Volunteer Service Award is a prestigious service award that encourages citizens to live a life of service through presidential gratitude and national recognition.

Through a Mission of inspiring more to answer the call to service, the President's Volunteer Service Award celebrates the impact we can all make in bettering our communities and our world.

It recognizes citizens who have achieved the required number of hours of service over a 12-month time period or accumulative hours over a course of a lifetime.

Rockwall County Helping Hands recently became a certified organization for this award and there are multiple students across the RISD School District being bestowed this honor for their volunteer service through Helping Hands Teen Board.

The Teen Board is an auxiliary support group that seeks to encourage the next generation of Helping Hands by supporting programs such as Thanksgiving baskets and toy drives.  If you would like to become part of the Helping Hands teen board or to learn more; please visit Rockwallhelpinghands.com.
