Last week, the cast and crew of the 2022 UIL One Act Play, Lafayette No. 1 by Mandy Conner competed at the Zone and District levels of competition.
We are so proud to have competed in an extremely competitive district and to have had students who earn the following awards:

Mrs. McGuire, the Utley MS theater teacher, said, "The journey of this show has been an incredible ride. We began work on Lafayette No. 1 in October 2021. To see the growth, resiliency, and drive that these students have demonstrated means more than any award. As the director of this show, to say I am proud of these young actors, would be a vast understatement. They amaze me everyday."
