Hats the Musical and Art Show

Springer Elementary second-grade students displayed their talent and creativity during Hats the Musical and Art Show, exploring different professions and people who wear hats. Their investigation began as a journey to help four friends who were hatless.  Directed by music teacher Mrs. Schulter, they sang songs about police officers, chefs, and the Statue of Liberty, all in search of the perfect hat for their friends. Along the way they discovered that while the hats are important, what’s more important is the person who wears it. Ms. Saba’s art classes added their creativity to the evening, sculpting their favorite hats out of Model Magic clay.
