Kindergarten Class Brings Characters to Life

Ms. Pughes’s kindergarten class wrapped up their reading unit on understanding characters through performance. They read books from the Elephant & Piggie series by Mo Willems, getting to know the characters’ thoughts, feelings, and actions. To celebrate their journey, they teamed up with a partner and brought the stories to life through acting. One student became Gerald, the elephant, while the other transformed into Piggie, sharing their versions of these characters with the class.
