Welcome to 6th Grade Contemporary World Cultures. 

My name is Amy Rakow.  I am a graduate of Rockwall High School and I continued my education at East Texas State University where I obtained my teaching degree in English and History.  I was fortunate to begin my teaching career in Rockwall ISD, and I am now beginning my 21st year in the classroom.  I have teaching experiences that span grades 5-8, but have most recently been teaching the last eleven years at Hays Elementary.  I look forward to another great year of learning and fun with our sixth graders!
