Secondary Math Summer Bridge Courses

  • Welcome to our Rockwall ISD Summer Math Opportunities!

In order to ensure a smooth transition for your child to their next secondary math course, RISD has created optional online summer math courses for some of the middle school courses.  These courses will provide your child with a review of critical skills and concepts needed to help your child be successful in their future math course. There are different types of courses depending on which course your child is completing this year and which course your child will be taking next year. All courses are through Imagine Math, online, and self-paced.

    • The content of the course is as follows:
      • Imaging Math Custom Pathway
        • All lessons in the pathways must be completed BEFORE July 31.  After this date, you will no longer be able to log in.
        • Custom pathways have been created for you which include concepts you will need to be successful in the next math course.
        • How to know which pathway to complete?  Click HereLinks to an external site.

To log into Imagine Math you will need to access your google dashboard. When logged into their Rockwall G Suite account, students will be able to click on the Imagine Math icon and then select the correct Imagine Math summer pathway to get started.  Each lesson takes approximately 30 - 45 minutes. Please plan so that you can complete the lessons before the end of July.

A Rockwall ISD employee will be monitoring the course and may be reached via email during the window of the course. We encourage you to help your child work through the modules over the course of the summer.  The online bridge courses will close July 31st.

We are dedicated to your child's success in mathematics.  Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist your child in this transition.
