Hi Garcia Gators! My name is Miranda Armstrong and I will be teaching Kindergarten at Garcia this school year. I attended college at Dallas Baptist University then transferred and graduated from the University of Houston-Victoria and recieved my teaching certification through Texas Teachers of Tomorrow. I have been a kindergarten teacher for four years now, and I am very excited to continue teaching kinder at Garcia this year. I grew up in Mesquite but moved to Rockwall when my husband started his career as a firefighter. We've been married for 5 years and we live in Fate with our two fur babies Jax and Stewart. In my free time I love to workout, spend time with family and friends, surf on our boat, or anything outdoors. 

I’m really looking forward to this year at Garcia. I can't wait to build our classroom community and learn and grow so much, while having so much fun!
