This week during library makerspace time, students had fun integrating technology and engineering skills into creating a structure. Our librarian, Mrs. Applegate, and Instructional Technology Specialist, Mrs. Katy Pope, collaborated on a lesson to integrate Lego Spike Kits with our science TEKS!
Second-grade engineers discussed the importance of selecting proper materials for certain projects. The goal was to build a robotic carousel made of Legos for an amusement park.
