  • Free and Reduced Rollover Period Ending October 10

Students who were eligible for Free and Reduced meals at the end of last school year have their eligibility rollover for the first 30 days of the school year.  That rollover period ends October 10.

Students who do not submit a new application by October 10, their accounts automatically default to paid status.  Please submit a new application for school year 2017-2018 to have benefits continue.

Applications are accepted year-round, but to avoid disruption of benefits, applications should be submitted before October 10.

You can read more information and access the application at http://rockwallisd.com/childnutrition.

  • Rockwall ISD and Campuses Achieve Highest Accountability Rating

Rockwall Independent School District and all 19 of its campuses have achieved the state’s highest rating for academic achievement. The district and all campuses were officially rated “Met Standard” according to the Texas Education Agency.

“I am so proud of the excellence that has been achieved by our students and teachers. It takes everyone in our organization from bus driver to campus leadership to central office, in partnership with parents, to achieve such high student performance. It is that spirit of partnership in educating all children that makes Rockwall ISD an exceptional school district,” said Superintendent Dr. John “JJ” Villarreal.
