• Developed by families across our community
    to manage our fast growth.

  • “With our long-standing tradition of academic, fine arts and athletic excellence, Rockwall
ISD has become a destination school district – and one of the fastest-growing districts
in North Texas. We have grown by more than 3,000 students over the last decade and are
expected to grow by nearly 3,500 students by 2030.

To prepare for the increasing student population, the RISD Board of Trustees took a
community-driven approach to prioritizing the District’s future needs and commissioned
a Facilities Bond Committee. The Facilities Bond Committee of parents, grandparents,
teachers, and community and business leaders, developed a $475.8
million bond proposal that impacts every student and every school in Rockwall ISD.

Please take a moment to review the details of the bond proposal on this website. Early voting begins October 18-29 and Election Day is Tuesday, November 2. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email communications@rockwallisd.org or call us at (972) 771-0605.”
