Child Nutrition Information
The SSO Feeding Program will be from August 17th through August 25th. All (3) three sites (Dobbs, Jones, and Rochell) will be operational and serving times will remain the same as this summer, 10:00am to 12:00pm. *Rockwall ISD Child Nutrition Department is providing a "Grab & Go" lunch and snack, for all children 18 years and younger and all SPED program students.

Meal Service Requirements for August 17 - 25
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has recognized that under the current circumstances caused by the COVID-19 public health emergency, parents participating in all Child Nutrition Programs may need to pick up meals for their children without the children present. The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) has established guidelines for the implementation of this wavier as follows:
Regardless of Program, when a parent or guardian arrives to pick up a meal without a child present, they will need to present one of the following items:
- Official Letter / Email / Other Correspondence from school listing children enrolled
- Individual student report cards
- Attendance record from parent portal of school website
- Birth certificate for children not in school
- Student ID cards
As a reminder, starting on August 26, 2020, we will begin our School Breakfast Program (SBP) and National School Lunch Program (NSLP) for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. Meal application is avaialble for those who are interested in applying for free and reduced elegibility. Please see the link below.

Apply for meal benefits by clicking here. Meal applications are also available at the schools or at the Child Nutrition Office (1050 Willliams Street, Rockwall). Apply antyime during the school year as household finances change. If approved for Free or Reduced meals the student is eligible for both breakfast and lunch for Free or Reduced price.
