Welcome to Second Grade

We are so excited that you're here! For this 2023-2024 school year, we will continue to improve our students' reading skills by learning new words and reading more complex texts. We will build basic math concepts with regrouping, basic multiplication and division, measurement, time, and money. We will learn all about our community and investigate the natural world and its systems.Second grade is a year of tremendous growth, both academically, and with independence! We encourage you to be as involved as possible, so that we can build a strong school/home connection!Please reach out at anytime as your child's growth and development is extremely important to us!Relationships.
