Nurse Koeneman

Hi Hamm families!  My name is Julie Koeneman and I am so grateful to be a part of the Hamm Fam another year!  

I have been a RN for over ten years with previous experience in the Neonatal ICU for about 6 years and then transitioned to the school nurse role in 2018. I am married and have two wonderful kiddos of my own. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys!

I am here to help our students stay healthy and be successful at school as well as provide health screenings and education. Thank you for trusting me to take care of your child's health needs.

 Please remember RISD requires that students are screened for illness at home before they arrive to school in the morning. If your student is not feeling well, please keep them at home for further monitoring and consider evaluation by their doctor.
