What to Know on Your 1st Day
Parents and students,
Welcome Dr. Gene Burton College & Career Academy students to the 19-20 school year!
The first two days of school (August 19th & 20th) we will be holding student orientations. Afterward students will report to their GBCCA class. All students are required to attend the student orientation during their regularly scheduled GBCCA class. We do ask that all students ride the bus the first two days of class to and from the Burton Academy. Students will be directed upon arrival on where to go for orientation. Students will be told by their teachers what lunch they will have if they have 3rd or 6th periods at the Academy. For the first two days lunch will be assigned according to the students school. If your childs class is at the Ag Facility your child will be riding the bus from their home campus to the Ag facility. All Ag facility students have the last lunch and will eat at their home campus.
