Over the break, RHS Robotics competed at the FIT Plano District Event. The team was very successful, losing in the final match (best of 3) to a talented first seed alliance. The team walked away with enough points to secure a trip to state!
Jackson Griffith was selected as a Dean’s List Finalist and will represent Team 1296 at the First in Texas State Championship in April.
Team 1296 received the Industrial Design Award- sponsored by GM. This award goes to the team that demonstrates industrial design principles, striking a balance between form and function.
Our next competition is this Friday and Saturday (3/22-3/23). The event will be held at the Fair Park Automobile Building. I am attaching a schedule in case you would like to attend.
The FIT State Championship will be held April 3rd-6th at the George Brown Convention Center in Houston. The FRC World Championship will be April 17th-20th also at the George Brown Convention Center in Houston.
