-This will be my 10th year teaching at Cain Middle School 

-I was born and raised in the White Rock Lake area of Dallas 

-I currently live in Mesquite 

-I went to the University of North Texas and recieved a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Spanish and a minor in Secondary Education 

-I studied abroad at La Universidad Internacional in Cuernavaca (about an hour outside of Mexico City) 

-I am married and we have three dogs

-My mom just retired from 20+ years of teaching

-My husband is also a teacher as well as my father-in-law and all my siblings-in-law (you might say it runs in the family)
