In Creative Writing, we provide an array of opportunities for creative written expression: poetry, short fiction, vignette, autobiography, dramatic and screen writing are included. Daily journal writing and a multi-genre creative research project are required.

I'm so excited to share my love for creative writing with my students this year. This class will cover several different kinds of writing as well as other practical lessons that deal with writing to help students succeed in the future. We focus a majority of our time on revision and peer feedback. It can feel scary at first, but this is a necessary part of the writing process that I hope everyone will come to embrace. I'm looking forward to a fantastic year!
