Culinary Arts Students Earn National Food Safety Certification

Each year, the Culinary Arts program certifies its 2nd year students with a ServSafe Manager Certification. Servsafe is a national food safety certification for restaurant industry chefs, managers, and other professionals. Our students study for eight weeks to take the national exam and earn their certification. These certifications afford students an opportunity to advance a career in hospitality and a special Career and Technical Education cord to wear at graduation.
