The gym was alive with classmates and families cheering our students on as they competed in a Special Olympics basketball tournament on Feb. 16 at Williams Middle School.
Elementary and secondary student athletes competed in speed dribble, hoop shot, and other fun categories for a chance to win gold, silver and bronze medals. The tournament showcased the talents of students with various abilities and was proof that, with hard work and a positive attitude, anything is possible!
Thanks to the Rockwall-Heath High School girls basketball team for volunteering their time for this event. Congratulations to all the students who competed!
