Two Rockwall ISD students have advanced to the state Texas Association of Pupil Transportation Art Contest as part of Love the Bus Month.
Marianne G., third grader at Dobbs Elementary, and Brynley H., eighth grader at Williams Middle School, participated in the North Texas Association of Pupil Transportation (NTAPT) art contest. Their art work has been selected to represent Rockwall ISD at the state level in their respective divisions.
Marianne and Brynley have each been awarded a $100 prize by the NTAPT for winning their divisions. Additionally, Brynley has been awarded an extra $300 by the NTAPT for winning the overall poster contest.
The students and their families are invited to attend the next NTAPT chapter meeting in March where the art contest winners will be recognized.
